A little about myself:

My name is Mat Haag. I am a 38 year old Southwest Florida native. Fishing the Gulf Coast has been my passion since I was a teenager. I have been a licensed captain, guiding Lee and Charlotte Counties, for 13 years now. The bulk of my experience has been shallow water fishing (Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, etc.) running Flats Boats, but, I also have knowledge operating larger vessels (the biggest being a 55 ft Hatteras). I am very comfortable on the water, be it at the helm or in the ocean, side by side with it's inhabitants.
